June 2020 digital representation of Australia's international maritime treaty boundaries, updated to include the 2018 Australia Timor-Leste Maritime Boundaries Treaty. Geoscience Australia developed this GIS data product in consultation with other Commonwealth Government agencies. The coverage includes the whole Australian marine jurisdiction, from approximately 8°S to 70°S latitude and 39°E to 174°E longitude.
A map of cumulative underwater sound exposure from shipping traffic in the Great Barrier Reef for the winter season of 2015, covering June through September. The data is provided by the Australian Ocean Data Network and was last updated in July 2026. It is available as a web map service and static image formats.
A systematic review and meta-analysis synthesizes results from 11 prospective cohort studies involving 1,353,481 participants to evaluate the link between long-term traffic noise exposure and hypertension risk. The research, authored by Yumo Xia and published on figshare, pools data from PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science to calculate hazard ratios. The document was last updated on May 28, 2026.
A geospatial map depicting Australia's maritime jurisdiction off the coast of South Australia. It is one of 27 constituent maps in the 'Australia's Maritime Jurisdiction Map Series' (GeoCat 71789), showing the extended continental shelf approved in April 2008 and various maritime zones. The background bathymetry combines data from a 2009 9 arc-second grid and a 1997 grid by Smith and Sandwell, with land imagery from NASA's Blue Marble.
One map from the 27-constituent 'Australia's Maritime Jurisdiction Map Series'. It depicts Australia's extended continental shelf as approved by the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf in April 2008. The background combines bathymetric data from a 2009 9 arc second grid and a 1997 grid by Smith and Sandwell, with land imagery from NASA's Blue Marble.
Australia's Maritime Jurisdiction off Central Western Australia is one of 27 maps in the 'Australia's Maritime Jurisdiction Map Series' (GeoCat 71789). The map depicts Australia's extended continental shelf approved by the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf in April 2008 and various maritime zones. Background imagery combines bathymetric data from 2009 and 1997 sources with land imagery from NASA's Blue Marble.
Australia's Maritime Jurisdiction off Southwestern Western Australia is one of 27 maps in the 'Australia's Maritime Jurisdiction Map Series' (GeoCat 71789). The map depicts Australia's extended continental shelf approved by the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf in April 2008 and various maritime zones. Background imagery combines a 2009 9 arc second bathymetric and topographic grid by Geoscience Australia with a 1997 grid by Smith and Sandwell, and land imagery from NASA's Blue Marble.
One of 27 constituent maps in the 'Australia's Maritime Jurisdiction Map Series' (GeoCat 71789). The map depicts Australia's extended continental shelf approved by the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf in April 2008, treaties, and various maritime zones. Background imagery combines 2009 bathymetry from Geoscience Australia with a 1997 grid and NASA's Blue Marble land imagery.
Road network data for the City of Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada. The dataset is available in multiple geospatial and tabular formats, including SHP, GEOJSON, KML, CSV, and XLS. It is published under an open license by the Government and Municipalities of Québec.
500 PCAP files of network traffic captured during audio streaming on Google Meet, Skype, Telegram, WhatsApp, and SoundCloud. The dataset was created by Mohammad Nikbakht and includes a PDF with methodology and tool specifications. For details, refer to the associated BMC journal paper.
Rochdale Borough Council provides data on its parking account and controlled parking spaces. The dataset includes a breakdown of income and expenditure for the authority's parking account and the number of marked on-street and off-street parking spaces. It is available in XLSX and CSV formats under the Open Government Licence.
The Southern Indian Ocean seafloor is mapped in this bathymetric dataset collected to support the search for missing flight MH370. Geoscience Australia provided expertise for surveys conducted from June 2014 to February 2017, acquiring over 710,000 square kilometres of data. The dataset presents bathymetry at 150-meter resolution, overlain on a hillshade for topographic visualization.
Geoscience Australia collated quarantine procedures and parts analysis reports for debris recovered during the search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. The aircraft disappeared in March 2014 and was later determined to have entered the southern Indian Ocean. The reports document laboratory work undertaken by Geoscience Australia in support of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau-led investigation.
Geoscience Australia's Australia's Maritime Zones Edition 5 is a digital map superseding the 2013 edition. It depicts Australia's territorial sea baseline, maritime limits, and continental shelf boundaries as established under the Sea and Submerged Lands Act 1973, including agreements with neighboring nations. The map covers Australia's maritime jurisdiction from Heard and McDonald Islands to Norfolk Island and from the Torres Strait to the Australian Antarctic Territory.
Geoscience Australia's 2006 map depicts the territorial sea baseline and maritime limits established under the Sea and Submerged Lands Act 1973. This historical edition shows boundaries stretching from Heard and McDonald Islands to Norfolk Island and includes arrangements with Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and other nations. The map is superseded by a 2013 edition and is kept for historical record only.
A chapter by Linda M. Collins of Pennsylvania State University introduces latent transition analysis (LTA) for substance use prevention research. The technique models stage-sequential substance use onset, estimating transition probabilities between stages of use. The method is applied to evaluate prevention program effectiveness separately for Anglo, Latino, and Asian-American adolescents measured in seventh and eighth grades.
Lei Zhang from the University of Southern California studied the mechanical properties of pure olivine gouge across the brittle-ductile transition. The data likely contains stress power exponents measured from 100 to 500ºC under 100 MPa pore-fluid pressure in a triaxial deformation apparatus. The mechanical model captures the gradual evolution from cataclasis to crystal plasticity.
Data sets used in a scientific study of moiré bilayers by researchers from the University of California, Berkeley. The data likely contains experimental parameters and results for MoS2/MoS2 and WSe2/MoS2 heterostructures. Specific figures and material properties are listed for each data file.
23% of 1,217 undergraduate students aged 17-31 in Kathmandu reported a road traffic injury during 2021-2022. This mixed-method study by Nikita Bhattarai includes quantitative survey data and qualitative interviews with stakeholders, resulting in five key safety recommendations. The dataset is stored in an XLSX file and was last updated in May 2026.
A simulation dataset modeling traffic flow, vehicle miles traveled, and greenhouse gas emissions in San Francisco's central business district under various automated vehicle scenarios. The study by Huajun Chai from UC Davis uses a microscopic road traffic model with local travel activity data to explore effects of changing drop-off/pick-up demand, parking supply, and curbside pricing. It provides insights into the potential impacts of automated vehicles on urban traffic and emissions.
