2006–2007 excavations on the corner of Velyka Zhytomyrska and Stritenska streets in Kyiv were conducted by the Starokyiv expedition of the Institute of Archaeology of the NAS of Ukraine. The work aimed to rebuild the 19th-century Church of the Meeting of the Lord and clarify its history from the first wooden church to its destruction. The report documents the church's remaining basement and foundations, surrounding 17th–18th century burials, and a cultural layer spanning the 11th to 18th centuries.
