A single sighting of the sea slug species Berghia coerulescens, along with an egg mass, was recorded on August 8, 2022 in Jersey. Nick Jouault of the Société Jersiaise made the sighting, which was confirmed by expert Bernard Picton. This represents the first recorded occurrence of this species in the British Isles.
