21CXRM: Palaeozoic Petroleum Systems Analysis for UK Offshore Quadrants 6-21

UK offshore areas from the Orcadian Basin to the northern Forth Approaches (Quadrants 6-21) are covered by reports, images, and GIS products describing Devonian and Carboniferous geology and petroleum systems. The British Geological Survey produced these peer-reviewed products between November 2014 and May 2016 for the 21st Century Exploration RoadMap project. The analysis integrates interpretations of well, seismic, gravity-magnetic, and source rock data with petrophysical studies and basin modelling.

Use Cases

• Assessing regional hydrocarbon potential based on integrated petroleum systems analysis described in the reports.
