TEMPO: 3D Trajectories of Individual Antarctic Krill from the 2021 RV Investigator Voyage

From 29 January to 24 March 2021, the RV Investigator voyage IN2021_V01 collected 3D positioning data of individual Antarctic krill. The data were obtained using an array of 10 GoPro Hero-8 cameras deployed into krill swarms to study individual behavior. The primary goal was to support estimates of krill biomass for updating catch limits in CCAMLR's Division 58.4.2-East.
