COWCLIP2.1: Global Wave Climate Ensemble Statistics, 1980-2014

COWCLIP2.1 is the first coordinated multi-product ensemble of historical global wave climate, comprising general and extreme statistics of significant wave height, mean wave period, and mean wave direction. The dataset was produced by the Coordinated Ocean Wave Climate Project (COWCLIP) phase 2, processing data from fourteen global wave products over 1980-2014. Technical skill analysis against long-term global satellite measurements is provided.
