A data-driven computational model details the anatomy of the non-barrel primary somatosensory cortex from a juvenile rat. It contains 211,712 neurons across 60 morphological types, with synaptic connectivity defined by local axo-dendritic overlap and long-range topographic mapping. The model is available in the open SONATA standard and includes neuron locations, detailed morphologies, and synapse placement on dendritic trees.
Users are requested to cite two companion manuscripts and the Zenodo repository in any publications or presentations using the model.
