Description
The Eumeralla Formation is an Early Cretaceous non-marine volcaniclastic unit from the Otway Basin in southern Australia, deposited during the break-up of eastern Gondwana. The dataset, provided by the Australian Ocean Data Network, describes three major basin-wide lithostratigraphic units and a fourth western unit, interpreted as representing various coal swamps, flood plains, lakes, and stream environments.
