A prospective cohort study of 7,942 middle-aged individuals from the Whitehall II study, assessing the association between positive psychological well-being and incident coronary heart disease. The data includes baseline assessments of emotional vitality, optimism, and coronary risk factors collected between 1991 and 1994, with follow-up for incident CHD events over 5 person-years. The research was conducted by Julia K. Boehm of University College London.
