A seamless 1 km resolution global nighttime land surface temperature dataset for 2023 was generated by Yuyu Zhou. The dataset was created from NASA Terra and Aqua satellite MODIS products (MOD11A1 and MYD11A1) using a novel algorithm to fill missing pixels caused by clouds and shadows. The dataset is 63.7 GB in size and was last updated in April 2026.
