Description
753 submarine canyons along the Australian continental margin are evaluated for habitat potential using a surrogacy framework. The methodology, presented at the 2017 Australian Marine Science Association Conference, employs 22 environmental and ecological variables to estimate suitability for pelagic megafauna, epibenthic megafauna, and benthic infauna.
