Description
From 2009 to 2020, 133 occurrence records comprising 2,566 individual fish specimens were collected via trawling in Miaoli, Changhwa, and Yunlin counties. The dataset, created by Norhafiz Hanafi of National Sun Yat-sen University, documents six Johnius species and is published in the Taiwan Fish Database and GBIF. It serves as a foundation for understanding species ecology and biogeography influenced by ocean currents and the Changyun Rise topography.
