From February to March 2010, Geoscience Australia conducted a multibeam survey of the coastal waters of the Vestfold Hills in the Australian Antarctic Territory. The survey was a joint effort with the Australian Antarctic Division and the Royal Australian Navy's Deployable Geospatial Survey Team. Its primary aims were to understand seafloor character for benthic biota studies and to assess the impact of the Davis Station sewage outfall.
