12,232 participants aged 35-74 from the ELSA-Brasil longitudinal health study were used to evaluate the accuracy of three abdominal obesity indicators: waist circumference, waist-hip ratio, and conicity index. The study defined a latent variable as the gold standard and identified sex- and race-specific cutoff points for these indicators. It was authored by Michaela Eickemberg and is available via paperswithcode under an Open Access license.
License is Open Access (green), but specific terms and data access details are not provided in the input.
