Aboveground Biomass and Shrub Dominance for Alaska's North Slope, 2007-2016

The Beaufort Coastal Plain and Brooks Foothills ecoregions of Alaska's North Slope are covered by 30-meter gridded estimates of total plant and shrub aboveground biomass. The dataset was produced by NASA, linking field biomass harvests from 28 sites with NDVI from a regional Landsat 5 and 7 mosaic. It provides data for the period from June 2007 to August 2016.
