A method and case study for accommodating spatially varying highest astronomical tide levels in tsunami hazard assessments. The technique is demonstrated using the Gladstone region of Queensland, Australia, with comparisons at three sites: Lady Elliot Island, South Trees, and Rosslyn Bay. The work was presented at the 2025 Australasian Coasts & Ports Conference and published by Geoscience Australia Data.
