2743 face-to-face surveys of visitors to the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area were aggregated from quarterly periods between June 2012 and June 2013. The survey explores tourist perceptions, satisfaction, trip expenditures, and willingness to pay for environmental protection. Data was collected by James Cook University and The Cairns Institute under the NERP TE 10.2 project and is presented as an aggregated Excel spreadsheet.
Data is provided in Excel format; privacy constraints mean only aggregated data is available, not raw survey responses.
