Description
Additional file 8 of Characterization of the full-length transcriptome of female Eucoleus annulatus and comparative transcriptomic analysis of its head, middle, and tail body sections. This dataset, Table S7, lists differentially expressed genes identified in the head of the nematode parasite E. annulatus. It was authored by Yi-Dan Wang and last updated on May 13, 2026.
Use Cases
Identify candidate genes for host-parasite interaction based on head-specific expression.
Compare gene expression profiles across different body sections of E. annulatus.
Validate RNA-seq findings for differential expression in a parasitic nematode.
Strengths
Dataset is focused on a specific anatomical region (head) of a parasitic nematode.
Data is structured in a tabular XLSX format (181.1 KB).
Released under a permissive CC-BY-4.0 license for reuse.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
Description metadata is limited; actual data quality requires manual inspection after download.
