Description
GLIDEnumbers are GLobal unique IDEntifiers for Disasters, enabling interoperability across multiple disaster information sources. The Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC) proposed this globally common Unique ID code to address confusion in identifying events across borders. The dataset is actively used by institutions including UN-OCHA, UNDRR, UNDP, WMO, IFRC, FAO, the European Commission, and CRED.
