516 maps comprise the AUSTopo series, the largest-scale topographic map series covering the entire Australian continent. Each standard map covers approximately 150 by 110 kilometers, showing natural and constructed features like infrastructure, vegetation, hydrography, and 50-meter contours. Geoscience Australia produces these maps, which use GDA94/GDA2020 datum and UTM projection, with the last update recorded in March 2026.
Data is delivered as a digital PDF download, not a structured geospatial data file (e.g., Shapefile, GeoJSON).
