Albania Subnational NDVI: 10-Day Vegetation Indices and Anomalies

WFP-produced dekadal NDVI indicators for Albania's subnational administrative units derived from NASA MODIS collection 6.1 satellite data. The dataset tracks vegetation health through 10-day intervals, including long-term averages and percentage anomalies. Records are aggregated by administrative units using standardized Pcode references.

Use Cases

• Monitoring regional drought severity by analyzing the viq (NDVI anomaly percentage) column
• Establishing baseline vegetation health for specific administrative units using the vim_lta field
• Validating the statistical significance of regional aggregates using the n_pixels count

Strengths
