Wei-Min Wang published experimental data from the first integrated tests of the double-cone ignition scheme on the ShenGuang II Upgrade laser facility in 2026. The dataset includes results from experiments using 14 kJ nanosecond and 450 J picosecond laser beams to implode carbon-deuterium shells, achieving a 15.6% heating efficiency and neutron yields up to 6×10^5. Multi-scale simulation data is also provided to analyze the plasma conditions.
Dataset is 1.2 GB and includes multiple file formats (XLSX, TIF, HDF5, MAT, etc.), requiring compatible software for full access.
