Description
Alexander Hudson's dataset provides a record of 644 national-level constitutional referenda held between 1797 and 2016. The data was compiled from multiple sources, including the Centre for Research on Direct Democracy (258 observations), Dieter Nohlen's election handbooks (204 observations), national electoral agencies (69 referenda), and contributions from Mads Qvortrup and Beat Müller.
