Gorsachius magnificus Genome: Chromosome-Scale Assembly and Annotation

A high-quality chromosome-scale reference genome for the critically endangered White-eared Night-Heron (Gorsachius magnificus). The genome has a total length of 1.176 Gb, with 18,082 protein-coding genes and 97.2% of highly conserved Aves genes confirmed. It was assembled by Zheng Chenqing using PacBio long-reads, Illumina paired-end sequencing, and Hi-C technology.
