Antibiotic Resistance Genes in E. coli from Humans, Poultry, and Environment in Bangladesh

Bangladesh data on antibiotic-resistant Escherichia coli and associated genes from human, poultry, and environmental samples collected between February 2017 and October 2018. The study assessed prevalence and abundance of resistant bacteria and two specific resistance genes in rural households, poultry farms, and urban food markets. Trained staff from the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh conducted sample collection and laboratory analysis.
