Geomorphic Feature Map of the Perth Submarine Canyon

Geoscience Australia applied a new genetic classification system to map the Perth Canyon seafloor using 20-meter resolution bathymetry and acoustic backscatter data. The dataset covers an area exceeding 1500 square kilometers, from 170 to 4700 meters water depth. This work was presented at the 2017 American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting.
