Perth Submarine Canyon Geomorphic Features and Habitat Mapping

The Perth submarine canyon off southwest Australia, covering over 1500 km², is the subject of this dataset. It applies a new genetic classification system to 20 m resolution bathymetry and acoustic backscatter data from 2015, plus sub-bottom and sediment data from 2005. The work was presented by Geoscience Australia at the 2017 American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting.
