August 1995 and 1996 data captures vegetation and soil conditions at 19 flux tower sites along a North-South transect on Alaska's North Slope. The dataset includes plant species cover for 29 plots at 17 sites using the Braun-Blanquet approach, plot environmental data, soil profile descriptions, and growth form composition surveys.
