A 22-day microcosm experiment monitored plankton communities during a spring bloom after increasing seawater alkalinity by approximately 497 µmol/kg. The data, hosted by the Australian Ocean Data Network, explores two CO2 equilibrium scenarios. Dynamics of carbonate chemistry, dissolved inorganic nutrients, particulate matter, and chlorophyll a were tracked.
