The Great Barrier Reef shelf area is covered by a high-resolution bathymetry grid with approximately 30-meter pixel spacing, known as gbr30. This dataset was developed by integrating multibeam, singlebeam, electronic chart, and airborne lidar bathymetry data from sources including the Australian Hydrographic Office and Geoscience Australia. It was used to assess deep-water habitat for crown-of-thorns starfish at 22 selected 'super spreader' and tourism reefs.
