445 radiosonde launches from 1987 and 1989 provide vertical profiles of temperature, humidity, and wind velocity in the atmospheric boundary layer over northeastern Kansas. Measurements were taken between 900 and 1800 CDST during five FIFE Intensive Field Campaigns to determine regional surface heat flux using Monin-Obukhov similarity theory. The raw data has been corrected for sensor delays and algorithm inconsistencies, then interpolated to standard pressure levels.
License details are unspecified ('other-license-specified'). The dataset is part of a larger FIFE data collection, with corrected and derived versions (e.g., Temperature and Humidity Profiles, Standard Pressure Level Data) described separately.
