ATS Vaccine Initiative: Qualitative Study of Providers and Patients in Rural Appalachia

From August 2023 to October 2024, a mixed-methods study was conducted at the West Virginia University Medicine pulmonary clinic to identify facilitators and barriers to a clinic-based vaccination intervention. The dataset contains redacted transcriptions from 3 individual interviews and 2 focus groups with healthcare providers, plus an Excel sheet of survey data from 41 patients collected between March and September 2024.
