Australian Petroleum Systems: Biostratigraphic and Reservoir Data for the North West Shelf

Eight basin modules covering almost the entire North West Shelf, the Petrel Sub-basin, and the Papuan basin in PNG were examined. The AGSO-APIRA project established two relational databases containing biostratigraphic data and reservoir, facies, and hydrocarbon shows data. Petroleum systems analyses compared source quality and timing of generation between similar systems in different areas.
