Petroleum Systems Analysis for Northwest Shelf Basins

Eight basin modules covering the North West Shelf, Petrel Sub-basin, and Papuan basin were analyzed. The AGSO-APIRA Australian Petroleum Systems Project established two relational databases for biostratigraphic and reservoir data. Petroleum systems analyses compared source quality and hydrocarbon generation timing across different areas.
