AUV Survey of Benthic Habitats and Biodiversity in SE Tasmania

A 2010 study trialed an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) integrating image capture with ship-based multibeam bathymetry to map seabed habitats in coastal and offshore waters of SE Tasmania.
