Geoscience Australia collected 71 line kilometers of high and low frequency sidescan sonar data using an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle in October-November 2014. The survey aimed to assess the CO2 storage potential of the Browse Basin by identifying indicators of natural fluid seepage. Data was gathered using an Edgetech FS system mounted on an AUV, operating at 120 kHz and 410 kHz frequencies.
Data is packaged in ZIP and HTML formats; specific software for sonar data visualization may be required.
