Robusta Coffee Cropland Expansion and Land Cover Change in Uganda, 1992-2022

Uganda's Robusta coffee-growing regions saw land cover transformations from 1992 to 2022. Land use and land cover maps were produced for three years using Sentinel-based remote sensing and a random forest classification, achieving validation accuracies between 93.5% and 98.2%. The dataset was created by Getachew Kebede Aragaw and published on figshare in 2026.
