Solid-state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) data characterize the chemical structure and surface morphology of the pill millipede Arthrosphaera lutescens. The NMR data includes ¹³C and ³¹P cross-polarization magic angle spinning (CP-MAS) spectra acquired at 500 MHz with 10 kHz MAS frequency and SPINAL64 decoupling. AFM data comprises raw scans and processed 2D/3D topographical images of the seventh dorsal tergite, captured in tapping mode with a silicon nitride cantilever at 256x256 pixel resolution.
Data includes proprietary instrument file formats (e.g., .MDT, .HYS, .MSA, .SPC) which may require specific software for analysis.
