Description
Five candidate genes—ZZZ3, GRAMD3, ZWILCH, LAMP3, and TBC1D16—were identified as potential links between Immunoglobulin A nephropathy and tolerogenic dendritic cells. This 15.9 MB dataset contains transcriptome analysis results, including differential expression, immune infiltration, and drug prediction data, published by Gulixian Tuerhong on figshare. The findings were validated with clinical samples using RT-qPCR, showing significant downregulation of ZZZ3, GRAMD3, and LAMP3 in IgAN patients.
Use Cases
Validate candidate gene biomarkers for IgAN diagnosis based on the identified five key genes.
Investigate immune cell infiltration patterns in kidney disease based on the correlation between GRAMD3 and CD4+ T cell levels.
Screen for potential drug compounds targeting specific pathways based on the prediction of trichostatin A as a therapeutic candidate.
Perform functional enrichment analysis to understand pathway activations associated with IgAN and tolerogenic dendritic cells.
Strengths
Includes validation of bioinformatics findings with clinical RT-qPCR samples.
Dataset size is 15.9 MB, containing analysis outputs in multiple formats (PDF, CSV, XLSX).
Analysis employed machine learning algorithms to identify candidate genes and created a diagnostic nomogram.
Limitations
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
