A 2026 case report details a patient with an 8.3×5.5 cm mediastinal hyaline-vascular unicentric Castleman disease (HV-UCD) tumor. Four cycles of R-CHOP chemoimmunotherapy achieved over 50% tumor shrinkage, enabling safe surgical resection and 12-month disease-free survival. The dataset provides evidence for using short-course R-CHOP as a bridge-to-surgery for high-risk, initially unresectable HV-UCD.
