Description
A 40-km² estuarine system on the central Yukon coast at 69°N latitude has been investigated for inputs, transfers, and storage of water and sediment. The study examines subsystems including fluvial, tidal-distributary, delta-plain, intertidal, lagoon, marginal-supratidal, and barrier environments, analyzing system response to seasonal and synoptic-scale perturbations.
