Tropical Savanna Belowground Biomass and Soil Data from Brazil, 2022

November 2022 field data from 10 paired vegetation patches in the Cerrado region of Brazil measures the impact of Urochloa brizantha invasion. The dataset contains measurements of aboveground biomass, belowground organ biomass, bud bank density, root biomass, and soil carbon and nitrogen stocks. It was generated by the Environmental Information Data Centre to assess invasive grass effects on belowground ecosystem components.
