Over 1800 high-resolution still images of the Antarctic sea floor collected by Geoscience Australia and the Australian Antarctic Division in January-February 2011. The survey provides a benchmark dataset for monitoring environmental changes following the calving of the Mertz Glacier tongue. Images address objectives including community composition in newly exposed areas and the extent of hydrocoral communities.
