Over 1800 high-resolution seafloor images document benthic communities shortly after the 2010 Mertz Glacier calving event. Geoscience Australia and the Australian Antarctic Division collected the data across 75 successful camera deployments in January 2011. This survey provides a benchmark for monitoring environmental change on the Antarctic continental shelf and slope.
Primary data formats are HTML and PDF reports; users may need to extract and structure image metadata manually for analysis.
