Benthic Sediment Chemistry and Metabolism in Darwin and Bynoe Harbours, 2017

Geoscience Australia and partners collected seabed sediment samples from inner Darwin Harbour and Bynoe Harbour between May 29 and June 19, 2017. This dataset includes measurements of total sediment metabolism, carbonate content, organic isotopes, and organic and inorganic elements. The work forms part of a four-year (2014-2018) science program to create baseline habitat maps for marine resource management in Northern Australia.
