BITACORA: Gene Family Annotation Output for Seven Genomes

BITACORA is a bioinformatics tool for identifying and annotating gene families in genome assemblies. It was developed by Joel Vizueta at Universitat de Barcelona and tested on seven genome sequences. The tool outputs curated gene models in GFF format and predicted proteins in FASTA format.
