Description
Bolivian labour relations data for the years 1900 and 2000, created by the Global Collaboratory on the History of Labour Relations. This dataset, updated in October 2020, includes only records containing labour relations, with population data removed. The update involved data cleaning, separation of male and female individuals, and removal of duplicate records.
Use Cases
Study historical labour force composition based on the separation of male and female individuals.
Analyze changes in labour relations over a century based on the 1900 and 2000 time points.
Conduct demographic research on working populations using cleaned and deduplicated records.
Strengths
Data cleaning was performed, including removal of duplicate records.
Male and female individuals are separated in the records.
The dataset focuses specifically on labour relations, excluding general population data.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
The dataset covers only two specific years (1900 and 2000), limiting longitudinal analysis.
