BOREAS RSS-04: Jack Pine LAI and FPAR Measurements

In the BOREAS Southern Study Area, leaf area indices and fraction of absorbed photosynthetically active radiation were measured at three conifer sites in August 1993 and at jack pine tower flux and auxiliary sites in July-August 1994. The RSS-04 team collected this data using LAI-2000 and Ceptometer instruments. The measurements were intended for model parameterization and testing empirical relationships between biophysical parameters and remotely sensed data.
