BOREAS RSS-07: Regional LAI and FPAR Images from 1994

1994 summer data contains images of Leaf Area Index (LAI) and Fraction of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FPAR) for the BOREAS study region. The images were produced from ten-day composite AVHRR NDVI data using algorithms validated with ground measurements and Landsat TM imagery. This dataset supports the development and validation of remote sensing retrieval methods for vegetation biophysical parameters.
