BOREAS TGB-06: Soil Methane Oxidation and Production in Boreal Forests

Soil methane consumption and associated isotopic fractionation data were collected at sites in the Southern and Northern Study Areas during 1994 and 1996. The dataset includes methane 13C data from soil gas samples at NSA YJP and OJP sites, plus isotopic composition of methane produced in NSA beaver ponds and a fen bog from 1993-1994. Measurements were taken from enclosure chambers to study bacterial CH4 oxidation and production processes.
